The Scottish Rite is a Masonic organization that continues a Master Mason’s education of the first three degrees. The Scottish Rite consists of the 4th degree–32nd degree and an honorary 33rd degree, which is awarded for exceptional service.
Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship, and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth with nearly 200 temples (chapters) in seven countries and thousands of clubs around the world. Our fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life.
Shriners International also supports Shriners Hospitals for Children®, a health system of 22 facilities dedicated to providing pediatric medical care, world-class research, and educational opportunities for medical professionals.
The York Rite consists of three separate appendant bodies; Chapter, Council, and Commandery. The Chapter, Council, and Commandery each have their own charities they support such as RARA, CMMRF, and the KTEF. Many people say it is the Christian side of Masonry but this may be a bit of a misnomer. It is true that to become a Knight Templar which is the culmination of your journey through the York Rite you must profess a “firm belief in the Christian religion” the same requirement does not hold true for the Chapter and Council where all Master Masons may find further light.
What is the Louisiana Lodge of Research? Well, it’s really you. It is your lodge and the lodge of every Louisiana Freemason. It exists to celebrate, study, learn about and research all aspects of Louisiana Freemasonry.
Membership in the LLR is open to all Master Masons under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Louisiana or those jurisdictions in fraternal relations with the Grand Lodge of Louisiana. Lodges, organizations, and Masons belonging to jurisdictions not yet in fraternal relations with the Grand Lodge of Louisiana may join as subscribers.
The Masonic Service Association of North America (MSANA) was formed in 1919 to provide services to its member Grand Lodges that they would find difficult to provide for themselves. Thus the national voice that the MSA has is dedicated to Service to the Masonic community.

The Grottoes of North America is a Masonically affiliated fraternal organization, whose membership is based on Masonic values. The Grottoes of North America is a charitable organization, dedicated to promoting good-fellowship, friendship, and fun amongst Master Masons.
Rainbow is a nonprofit organization that strives to give girls the tools, training, and encouragement to let their individual spirits shine brightly. It provides members with a safe, fun, caring environment where responsible older girls can interact with and mentor younger girls through family involvement.

The George Washington Masonic Memorial is more than a colossal memorial and museum. High Twelve is an organization of Master Masons who support Masonic causes with a special emphasis on youth support and patriotic events. There are approximately 9,000 members in over 250 clubs nationwide and in foreign countries.
National Sojourners, Inc., is a national fraternal organization meeting the needs of military members who are Masons in advancing programs that promote the love of country.
DeMolay is an organization dedicated to preparing young men to lead successful, happy, and productive lives. Basing its approach on timeless principles and practical, hands-on experience, DeMolay opens doors for young men aged 12 to 21 by developing the civic awareness, personal responsibility, and leadership skills so vitally needed in society today. DeMolay combines this serious mission with a fun approach that builds important bonds of friendship among members in more than 1,000 chapters worldwide.
